The thin red line flag was developed to show support and solidarity with the fire service personnel, and to honor injured or fallen firefighters, as was this bar of soap.

For each bar sold, 10% of the profit will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. This foundation was started to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on 9/11. They provide support to the military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

Ingredients:  Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Cocoa Butter, Castor Oil, Pure Fragrance, Activated Charcoal, Mica

About sodium hydroxide (lye):  All true soap is made when a chemical reaction occurs (saponification) between sodium hydroxide and the oils/butters being mixed together.  This process is complete after about 48 hours, at which point, no sodium hydroxide remains in the soap.  Even though sodium hydroxide is not in the end product, it is listed, as it is used to make the soap.
