Product Promises
- We promise to bring you better ingredients. Our ingredients are pure, simple and responsibly sourced, while commercial companies use harsh chemicals.
- We promise to bring you the most natural products, but when we can't, we promise to be honest about all ingredients used. While some products may contain a fragrance oil or colorant, these products are still "mostly" natural, with no product being less than 96% natural, and still so much better for your body than commercial products. Just compare the long list of commercial ingredients in the picture below (top) to Plume's short, pure list of ingredients.
- We promise to never use parabens, pthalates (never in our pure fragrance oils) or sulfates in our products.
Our soap
Our products are made in small batches to ensure the highest level of quality. Because our products are handmade, each batch may vary slightly. We try our best to ensure consistency with the original design, however, batches and individual products may be slightly different.
Each bar of soap is hand cut. We aim for 5.3 - 5.5 oz. We use 5.3 oz on the packaging, however, most are closer to 5.5 oz.
We use the traditional cold batch process, which allows ingredients to stay at a low temperature, ensuring they keep their therapeutic properties. By using this "old fashioned" process, the naturally occurring glycerin remains in the product, and provides intense hydration for your skin.
To extend the life of your soap, allow the bar to dry out between uses by utilizing a wooden draining dish. Do not allow the bar to sit in water or be placed under running water in the shower.
To provide our customers with the most value, our soaps are larger bars. Most prefer this, however, if you do not, you may cut the bar in half for easier handling.
Benefit claims
The FDA regulations prohibit bath and body companies from making health-related claims about beauty products. I am not a medical or healthcare professional and do not claim that the use of my products may have a positive effect on pre-existing physical and/or mental health conditions.
