This moisturizing bar has a beautiful blend of anise and peppermint essential oils, makes a great combo.

Ingredients:  Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Cocoa Butter, Castor Oil, Essential Oils, Mica, Activated Charcoal, Ground Anise Seed.

About sodium hydroxide (lye):  All true soap is made when a chemical reaction occurs (saponification) between sodium hydroxide and the oils/butters being mixed together.  This process is complete after about 48 hours, at which point, no sodium hydroxide remains in the soap.  Even though sodium hydroxide is not in the end product, it is listed, as it is used to make the soap.
